Help Arab Students Facing Expulsion from Israeli Universities

Universities and colleges provide an important space for young adults to develop independent thinking and learn how to be critical and to voice dissent. After the horrific events of 7 October and the swift escalation in hostilities, the first move of Israeli universities was to suspend or expel dozens of Palestinian students for their social media posts in which they expressed their feelings and opinions about the situation in Gaza, sweepingly dubbed “supporting terror” by these institutions.

Adalah is currently monitoring 96 cases, and providing legal representation to 84 students from 25 universities and colleges. Our lawyers have already won some cases, and continue to represent students in hearings.

DONATE TODAY TO ADALAH
The students worked hard against discriminatory barriers for their places at these institutions, and a university degree opens doors to a better future.

Adalah needs your help to defend Palestinian students and protect their rights to education and free speech against this persecution.

More information in Adalah's press release.

Thank you for your support.
