40 Watts From Nowhere puts you in the shoes of 90s counterculture icon Sue Carpenter who found herself leading a double life: magazine writer by day, pirate radio host by night. With her illegal station KBLT, Sue captured the attention of misfit music lovers from every walk of life . . . and the authorities.

CASTING

Casting invites a small audience of up to 12 participants to see whether they have that star power it takes to book the big gig.

Absurd and poignant, Casting is an intimate, immersive experience that invites attendees to explore the choices we make when we want to stand out and those we make when we want to connect.

The experience combines theater, dance, and interactive sound and video design.

The Dark Room invites you join them for Repent presents The Overlook Hotel. An immersive night with a burlesque and drag show.

Explore the Overlook and enjoy a variety show.

Sign into the “hotel” at the “front desk” in the Welcome Visitor Guest Book. Get your keepsake room key (limited run) from the Concierge. He is starving for your shine so be careful. Have your “shine” read in The Colorado room by Sophie Firethunder Oglala Lakota, Pine Ridge South Dakota.

In Stanley Kubrick film, "The Shining," the genocide of the American Indians is woven throughout. In this immersive event they would like to call attention to the Indigenous community. You will be able to scan QR codes to learn about different ways you can support and be an advocate for Indigenous peoples, as well as info hung around The Colorado Room. All vendors for this event will also be from the indigenous community

Station yourself at a typewriter and work on your novel. Be warned, the only thing that will appear is…”All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy.” You may take a page from Jacks novel home as a memento. Grab a drink or shot from the themed beverage menu. Relax and lounge in Room 237. Peak in on Mrs. Lorraine Massey in her bathtub. Pose as Jack and Wendy with the Red Rum door. Play with the Twins! Press the blood elevator buttons and hear what’s happening on the different floors. Adult tricycle rides through the hotel and into the hedge maze to find Dick Hallorann on the hotel’s snowy grounds. Chill with mad Jack as you navigate the hedge maze map. Dance in the Gold Room at The Fish and Goose Soirée surrounded by ghosts of the late hotel guests. Music played by DJs Niq V and Roland! Enjoy The Shining and Doctor Sleep movies played on Repeat. Have a run in with the hotel bear or Dannyfor a photo opportunity. Take home Polaroid options.
