This Sunday is the 31st in Ordinary Time. In the Gospel reading Jesus teaches us that in order to be great we must first be humble and small. This runs contrary to the prevailing culture and it is so easy to forget that self-forgetfulness is central to our faith.

Grand Christmas Raffle
Tickets are now on sale for the Grand Christmas Raffle for £2 each. They are available after Sunday Mass.The Bishop will draw the raffle on Sunday 17th December. Donations of prizes needed, please speak to Mary Kavanagh if you can help.


Saturday Reading Group
Jonathan will lead the nest  session of the reading group on Saturday after the 10am Mass. Please ask him for the reading material.

Mass for All Souls-tide
Tuesday 7th November, 6.30pm Solemn Requiem Mass with a choir singing the
Fauré Requiem. To add a name to the list of the faithful departed who will be prayed for at the mass please see Jonathan. You can also buy a 7-day memorial lamp at £5 each.
