Jean Hunleth, PhD, MPH and Michelle Silver, PhD, ScM received a Notice of Award (NoA) from the NCI for a supplement to the Cancer Center Support Grant on the Economics of Cancer Control in low-and middle-income countries (LMICs). The project will examine social cash transfers to improve childhood cancer outcomes in Zambia.

Rubi Gonzoles, PhD is the new Mentoring Chair for the First Gen Executive Council at WashU and is also the new Vice Chair for the Grants and Finance Committee for the National Science Policy Network.

Mei Wang, MS was selected as a winner of the 5th Annual ICTS Symposium poster competition presented this past May. Using Natural Language Processing Pipeline to Extract Lab Results in Veteran Health Administration’s Electronic Health Records.
