It's almost the most wonderful time of year in downtown

Experience the magic of Downtown in December, presented by Devon, a season of festive events, outdoor attractions, and holiday delights in downtown Oklahoma City from November through February 4. So many favorites are returning, including the Oklahoma City Tree Lighting Festival, presented by Heartland, Lights On Broadway, Saints Santa Run, and the Devon Ice Rink.

OKC TREE LIGHTING FESTIVAL - NOVEMBER 16

Kick-off Downtown in December in Bricktown

Get in the festive mood at the Oklahoma City Tree Lighting Festival presented by Heartland on Thursday, November 16, from 5:30–7:30 PM. Head to the Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark for this free, family-friendly event with face painting, photos with Santa, caricatures, a Magic Elf, and more!

The main attraction of the evening will be a showcase of diverse holiday performances leading up to and following the countdown to the lighting of the Christmas tree by Mayor David Holt and Santa at 7 PM.

The Bricktown Christmas Tree is presented by Painted Door Gift Boutique and will be on display through Christmas Day.

MISTLETOE MARKET - NOVEMBER 3-5

Holiday shopping made easy

The Junior League of Oklahoma City is hosting the 30th annual Mistletoe Market, a premiere holiday shopping experience, this weekend, November 3-5 at the Oklahoma City Convention Center.

More than 100 vendors will be available to shop from at the annual fundraiser, which helps JLOC continue its vital work in the community. More information and tickets are available at mistletoemarket.org.

SAINTS SANTA RUN - DECEMBER 2

Save $5 and register for the Saints Santa Run by Nov. 23

Grab your Santa costume and running shoes; the Saints Santa Run is returning to Midtown on Saturday, December 2. Downtown OKC's family-friendly winter run brings all ages and pets to downtown Oklahoma City for a festive 5K, 1-mile fun run, and a costume contest with cash prizes. 

Pre-registration is now open, and you can save $5 by registering by Nov. 23. Register, stay active, win prizes, and spread holiday cheer. Saints Santa Run is presented by SSM Health Saint Anthony Hospital.

New date for Myriad Gardens' tree sale

Don't miss the biggest tree sale yet! Join the Myriad Botanical Gardens on Saturday, November 11, from 9 AM to 12 PM for the annual Tree For All Sale presented by Cox. Ice skating returns to the heart of downtown

The Devon Ice Rink returns for its 12th season in the Myriad Botanical Gardens in 2023! Get ready for another great winter of outdoor ice skating at Downtown in December’s premier attraction. Skate across 5,500 square feet of real ice and indulge in seasonal food and beverage offerings. 

LIGHTS ON BROADWAY - DECEMBER 2, 9, 16

Save the date for the holiday favorite Lights On Broadway

Cruise down historic Automobile Alley for the district’s holiday open house and experience its stunning light display during the 8th annual Lights On Broadway event! The fun returns in 2023 for three Saturdays this season: December 2, 9, and 16.

Each Saturday from 3-7 PM, various retail shops and restaurants will feature buzz-worthy window displays, pop-up activities, special promotions, and giveaways. Attendees can also enjoy family-friendly programming along the sidewalks.
