The Final Stretch

We're just a little over two weeks away from election day on Tuesday, November 7th! I am still raising money to fund my campaign, so if you haven't made a contribution yet, please donate today. Here some other ways to get involved in the next couple of weeks:

Yard Signs
We are already on our second order of campaign signs, so if you'd like one for your yard, sign up here and we'll deliver one to you!

Car Magnets
Live on a dead end street or in an apartment building, but want to show your support for the campaign? We have a car magnet for you.
Postcards for Friends
Looking for an easy task to do from the comfort of your home? Take a stack of postcards to send to you friends and neighbors and let them know who you're supporting for Councilor-at-Large.

Canvassing Voters
The most effective way to reach voters is to knock on their doors, which is what I've personally been doing for the last several months. I have had so many great conversations canvassing voters across the city -- it's a nice way to meet people (in-person is much more rewarding than social media!) Sign up here to get a turf.
Sign Standouts and GOTV
We have a couple of more weekends left for sign standouts and then we'll be gearing up for GOTV ("Get Out the Vote"). Sign up here for dates, and then we'll be in touch with specifics on times and locations.
EARLY VOTING DATES

In-person Early Voting for the November 7th Election will be available to all Melrose voters at City Hall (City Council Chambers) on the following dates:

Wednesday, October 25: 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

Friday, October 27: 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Tuesday, October 31: 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Make sure you're registered to vote! Last day to register is
Friday, October 27 online or in-person. Need a mail-in ballot? Submit a mail-in application by October 31 at 5pm to the Melrose Elections Office.

It has definitely been a whirlwind these last few weeks! I've participated in multiple candidate forums, including most recently the League of Women Voters; attended fundraising events, like the Melrose High School Scholarship Fund "Sips for Scholarships" and the Memorial Hall Gala; and of course chaired the Appropriations & Oversight Committee of the City Council.

But nothing beats cheering for my kids on the field, so I'm grateful to be able to make time to watch them both play soccer this fall (and flag football for my youngest.)
As always, thank you so much for all of your support! I'm grateful to have such a wonderful team of volunteers and supporters who help to make this campaign possible.
