Dear Women's Caucus Members, Legislative Colleagues, and Partners,
Happy Fall from the Women's Caucus! This is a busy time in the legislative session, and we are pleased to bring you many updates in this newsletter.
Over the last few months, we have been hard at work revamping our website and creating an Instagram account. We encourage you to check them out and follow us on Instagram, Facebook, and X/Twitter to see real-time updates. Our website contains historical information, frequent updates on our priorities, and information about our 62 members.
One of our priority bills, An Act relative to salary range transparency, recently passed the House and Senate. We were pleased to partner with lead sponsors Rep. Cutler, Sen. Jehlen, Rep. Fluker Oakley, Rep. Rogers, Sen. Feeney, Sen. Miranda, and Rep. Barber. We are grateful to Speaker Mariano, Senate President Spilka, Ways & Means Committee Chairs Michlewitz and Rodrigues, and the Wage Equity Now Coalition. See below for more information.
We hope that you find this newsletter informative. We appreciate your partnership and, as always, encourage you to connect with us. To do so, please contact our Executive Director, Nora Bent.
Sincerely,
Senator Joan Lovely & Representative Hannah Kane
