Q. What can innovators learn from policymakers? Write, speak, and network to influence decision-making and job oportunities/consulting gigs should follow.

Q. What can policymakers learn from innovators? Mentor, advise and join a startup. Also, invest in one: lose some capital, learn from this experience to understand how entrepreneurs and innovators scale an idea or concept for commercialization.

Q. How are you currently bridging the gap between innovation and regulation? I'm focused on writing, speaking, and commentating on the nexus of African emerging tech and critical minerals into Western supply chains. Additionally, I'm mentoring and empowering more diverse professionals in tech policy - there is a lack of people of color in tech policy to support trade, competitiveness, and national security.

Q. Job advice in three words? Never give up!

Q. Can you describe a skill that has always proved to be valuable in your career? Learn the art of networking.

Q. Why are you part of TheBridge community? Why do you think it's important this community exists for tech, policy, and political professionals? Having a community of diverse individuals is good for supporting the future leaders of this country. I’m here to support through my network, offer advice, and look for opportunities.

Q. Favorite books you recommend? Innovator's Dilemma and The Daily Stoic
