NIAGARA FALLS SPARKLE AWARDS COMPETITION RETURNS FOR 2023; REGISTRATION STARTS NOVEMBER 29
NIAGARA FALLS, ON - Show off your sparkling outdoor holiday display and earn bragging rights in your neighbourhood – the City of Niagara Falls Sparkle Awards competition is back for 2023.
The Sparkle Awards is a free, outdoor, holiday-themed decorating competition open to Niagara Falls residents, with prizes awarded for Judge's Favourite, Fred Girardo Community Choice, and Best Effects.
Residents can register their properties in the competition between November 29 and December 13, with an online voting and judging window from 6:00 p.m. on December 15 to 10:00 p.m. on December 17.
Winners are announced during the day on December 20 at niagarafalls.ca/sparkleawards. A map will be available for residents to plan a festive drive.
HOW TO PARTICIPATE
Create an outdoor festive display at your home or business – You can enter by registering online between November 29 and December 13 at niagarafalls.ca/sparkleawards. There is no registration fee to participate in the competition.
Tour the displays across the City with the Sparkle Map – Displays will be lit from 6 to 10 p.m. Residents are encouraged to tour the City using the Sparkle Map, an online city guide of registered properties, which will be made available to the public once registration is closed at niagarafalls.ca.
Cast your vote in the Fred Girardo Community Choice Awards – Voting for your favourite display will open to the public online at niagarafalls.ca from 6 p.m. on December 15 to 10:00 p.m. on December 17.
Winners will be announced on December 20. Tour the sparkliest houses in Niagara Falls as part of your festive plans!
