COLORADO GIVES DAY: December 5, 2023

Colorado Gives day is approaching and we are asking for your help to keep funding SLV Immigrant Resource Center. This year has been full of great accomplishments and we wouldn’t be able to do it without your support. The following are just some of the accomplishments for 2023:


        Immigration Legal Assistance Program

  • 11 Family petitions, including fiancé and spousal applications

  • 19 Citizenship/ Naturalization applications

  • 16 Work authorization renewals

  • 37 Legal Permanent Residence card renewals

  • 28 DACA renewals

  • 23 Work authorization for Mushroom Farm Workers

  • 25 Housing Assistance

  • 40 U- Visa Applications

  • 4 VAWA application


    Food Pantry

  • 470 Food boxes distributed


    Punto de Vista Education/Outreach Program

  • 18 English as Second Language Students

  • 14 After School Program


    Outreach

  • Partnerships with different organizations like Alamosa Library, Tu Casa Inc. SLV Housing Coalition, and others.

  • Presentations about Immigration changes around the San Luis Valley.

With your contribution these programs can keep running for free or at a very low cost for the public. We can continue supporting the immigrant population in the San Luis Valley and throughout Colorado.
