We Will Be Offering Childcare at Discoveree!

We are partnering with Senior Girl Scouts to offer a limited number of slots for childcare of school-aged children at Discoveree. Our partner troop is working out the details. They will have their registration open at the same time Discoveree registration opens. We are excited to offer this assistance to our participants. More details will be included in the December newsletter.

Registration Opens Next Month

Discoveree registration will open on December 11th and will remain open until a week before the event. Our catalog will be released with the December Discoveree newsletter. Remember that slots in our most popular workshops (like First Aid and Camp Out) fill fast. There are no waitlists.

If you volunteer with a Service Unit Team, we would greatly appreciate it if you would share the registration dates with your volunteers. To make that easy, here is a slide/graphic you can share out with your volunteers.

The Discoveree Committee is always looking for a solid mix of workshops leaders expect (council trainings, ceremonies, songs, SWAPS, etc.) and new topics. Here are a few of the new workshops being offering this year. Be sure to register early for best selection!

Learn about great community service options for all levels of Girl Scout troops in Connection Through Community Service (Workshop 408).

Get on trend as you learn to make charcuterie boards in Grazing with Girl Scouts - building beautiful boards for kids of all ages (Workshop 483).

Learn how to welcome guests like the best in the industry with whimsical towel creatures in Towel Creations (Workshop 287).

Learn what you can do about the youth mental health crisis in Managing Mental Health Needs for Older Girls (Workshop 106) or Managing Mental Health Needs for Younger Girls (Workshop 306).

Learn the art of hydro-dipping, a great craft for older girls that is all over Instagram, in Hydro Dipping with Nail Polish (Workshop 385).

This is just a sampling of the over 25 new workshops being offered at Discoveree! There are over 70 workshops being offered this year.
