Upcoming Film Events: November 16 & 30

Join film critic and programmer Joan Nicks at the Niagara Falls History Museum for the final two viewings of the Fall Film Series: Minding the Planet. 

The two final films in the series include: 
  • The Anthropocene: The Human Epoch

Live History: Behind the Glass
Escape room meets theatre-style experience

The Niagara Falls History Museum exhibits have come to life, and we need your help to solve a mystery. You will have the opportunity to explore the history of the Museum while experiencing a blend of escape room and theatre-style entertainment. Be sure to solve all the clues before time runs out, or else you may find yourself trapped behind the glass forever.
  • Where: Niagara Falls History Museum, 5810 Ferry Street
  • When: Saturday, November 18
  • Time: Showtimes at 2:00 pm, 4:00 pm & 8:00 pm
  • Price: $15 for general public, $12 for Museum members

This event is hosted by Live History, a Canadian-based theatre company that has brought its immersive historical experiences to museums around the globe. We look forward to having you join us for this exciting adventure!

Join us for a holiday floral workshop with Country Basket Garden Centre!

Just in time for the holidays, create a lovely 11" x 12" x 6.25" table or mantel arrangement with fresh and fragrant greens, pinecones, berries and seasonal décor.

  • Price: $70 for general public, $65 for Museum members

"Connecting Generations: Cyber Seniors Learning Opportunity - Get free technology, support & training. Niagara Falls. In collaboration with Ontario."

Free technology support and training

Thanks to funding from the Government of Ontario, Cyber-Seniors is partnering with the City of Niagara Falls to launch a weekly technology training program at the MacBain Community Centre (7150 Montrose Road) starting later this year.

The program will facilitate direct engagement between older adults and youth volunteer Tech Mentors, offering hands-on, in-person practical tech training.

Topics the program will cover include:
  • Emailing Basics & Safety Tips
  • Beginners Guide to Social Media
  • Navigating your Device Settings
  • How to Listen to Podcasts
  • Facebook Messenger 
We are currently looking for youth volunteer Tech Mentors to spearhead this exciting initiative. If you're interested in this great volunteer opportunity, please complete this short survey so we may contact you.
