SWE GGS x UCB SWE Cal Women's Basketball
Join SWE GGS and UCB SWE to watch the Cal Women's Basketball Team take on St. Mary's. The game starts at noon but arrive at 11 and meet in the plaza right outside the pavilion entrance for some professional-student networking. We'll head in at 11:45 AM. Tickets cost $6. Snacks and drinks are available inside the stadium.
When: Saturday, December 2nd, 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM

Bay Area Engineers' Snowcial Holiday Party
Come and celebrate the holidays with three Bay Area organizations! SWE, Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE), and National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) are excited to bring you a happy and warm holiday party on the evening of 15th December. This event will help members mingle with those of the other organizations to get to know each other better and strengthen partnership. Food and beverages will be provided. Prizes will be raffled, but that won't be limited to just ugly sweaters.
We will also be collecting gifts to deliver the next day to the 'Toys for Tots' initiative in collaboration with Chevron, SHPE, and NSBE, so consider bringing a toy to donate. Stay tuned for more details!

Supporting Golden Gate SWE through your company
SWE Golden Gate relies on donations and sponsorships to fund our scholarship program, outreach events, membership events, and more! We are looking for new ways to collect funding through corporate sponsorships and matching programs. We are requesting the following from our members:
Check if your company offers:
1. Sponsoring of local non-profits. Connect them with sweggs.sponsorship@gmail.com so we can set up an official sponsorship.
2. Holiday giving campaign or a similar initiative (giving you money to donate) and consider sending some of that our way!
3. Donations for volunteer hours and log your hours volunteering with GGS SWE (and then also consider sending that money our way).
SWE Golden Gate is a registered 501(c) non-profit and we are eligible for charitable donations. Thank you for considering!
