Free Learning Series "Little Kids, Big World" Featured at North Dakota Heritage Center & State Museum
BISMARCK, N.D. – Toddlers and preschoolers are invited to the free interactive learning series "Little Kids, Big World" at the North Dakota Heritage Center & State Museum. These interactive 30-minute programs introduce children to North Dakota’s fascinating history and heritage. Children and their accompanying adult(s) are asked to meet at the west entrance information desk.
Dec. 2 Holiday History! 10 and 11 a.m. Discover the origins of the Christmas tree, and build one from candy and toothpicks.

Dec. 16 Let It Snow! 10 and 11 a.m. No two snowflakes are alike. Study their features, and create your own unique snowflake design.

Dec. 23 It’s Almost Christmas! 10 and 11 a.m. Enjoy a Christmas story, and decorate an ornament to take home.
Dec. 30 Harambee! 2 and 3 p.m. In the celebration of Kwanzaa, the Kikombe cha Umoja, or unity cup, represents family and community. Make your own unity cup.
