Fall into Winter as temperatures plummet this week and a wintery chill blows across the peninsula. Thankful for the glorious colors of Fall and grateful for the continuous changing of the seasons.

Our Mythical Forest Sculptures continue to entertain and delight our garden visitors, created by our genius staff and hard work of volunteers. This year we have added a new Sea Witch, an Octopus, a spider and web, toad, and a fiddler crab to the collection of natural sculptures. In addition, a few sculptures returned for a second year including the Bald Eagle, Heron, and Luna Moth.

Volunteer with DBG this season and help us grow. Garden Steward and Docent opportunities are available! During Fall, and thanks to the cooler weather, we will return to planting perennials, shrubs and trees. Aggressive plants and weeds still need keeping in check, so we need all the help we can get. Volunteering with DBG this season is a rewarding opportunity for you to contribute to the non-profit organization.

DBG is growing and has positions available for Point of Sale, Greeters, Garden Stewards, and Docents, and we hope to see you soon!
