10th anniversary of ETW!

This European Testing Week marks the 10th anniversary of the campaign. Since the campaign was launched in 2013, around 750 organisations across Europe have participated. We have developed a special anniversary logo (only available in English) and encourage you to use it for your ETW activities.

You can also download the usual logo for November. If you want it translated to your language, and it is not already available on the website, just send us an email.

Join our ETW meeting at the European Parliament

To mark the 10th anniversary of European Testing Week, we have organized a meeting at the European Parliament, which will take place on 29 November. 10:00-11:30 CET. The meeting will provide an update from ECDC about the current status and gaps for HIV and hepatitis testing in Europe, and an overview of how European Testing Week has contributed to increasing testing. Also, selected members of the European Parliament will participate in a roundtable discussion about policy issues related to testing.

The event will also be streamed online, and you are invited to participate! Just send us an email latest 20 November, so we can provide you with the link to access.

Theme statement

As usual, we have produced a theme statement to guide your activities, which you can chose to adapt to your local context, depending on what you prefer to focus on for this ETW.  For this November ETW, the statement focuses on stigma and discrimination related to HIV and viral hepatitis, and what can be done to address this barrier to testing. You can download the statement from our website here. The theme statement includes a number of resources on stigma in relation to testing.
