Along with Lakewood residents, the Pierce County Library System is eager to break ground on the interim Lakewood Pierce County Library. Library System administrators continue to work with government organizations for requirements for the interim Lakewood Library site. Once the Library System receives the green light on all requirements, contractors will begin construction for the interim library.
Once requirements are approved for the site, the landscaping and construction company will prepare the site to install the building. First steps include connecting to utilities, such as water, power and sewer. Then, contractors will install the building.

 The Pierce County Library offers pop-up libraries and services with community partners throughout Lakewood. You may check out books, movies and other materials as well as participate in classes and events at the pop-up libraries and community places.

Join others in the community to discuss a different genre each month. November's theme: a book made into a TV show or movie. Registration required.
Spanish/English Story Time
Saturday, Nov. 18, 1-1:30 p.m.

Tech Help
