NEWS FROM AROUND THE WORLD

PRAY FOR ISRAEL!

The attention of the majority of people today is towards Israel and what is happening in that region. The unprecedented brutality of Hamas shocked everyone. Civilians and children have suffered, and the blood of both Israelis and Palestinians continues to be shed. Our brothers and sisters suffer along with everyone else.

The European Baptist Federation is asking everyone to pray for the Association of Baptist Churches in Israel, which consists of 17 Baptist churches, and for the Holy Land Council of Local Evangelical Churches, which represents 13 Baptist churches in the Palestinian territories, including the Gaza Baptist Church (see the text of the letter: In Russian | In English).

Pray that many missionaries would take the Gospel to the Israelis, Palestinians, and Muslims around the world in this troubling time. This time is an indication of the “end time” events before the second coming of Christ. Pray also for peace in our countries, which are becoming more and more Muslim.

You may watch and listen to the accounts of Christians located in Israel here:

CHRISTMAS IN LEBANON

The well-known Moldovan missionary group “The Kirnev Family” plans to hold Christmas evangelistic events in several cities of Lebanon: Tire, Sidon, Beirut, etc. Sergey and Pavel, members of this group, explain why they decide to take such a risky trip to a country in the south of which there is military actions - watch the recording of their interview (in Russian only).

A LARGE SHIPMENT OF THE GIDEONS MINISTRY’S NEW TESTAMENTS WAS CONFISCATED IN RUSSIA

“They tried to bring books of the Holy Scriptures with dubious content into the Special Military Operation (SMO) zone” – this was the headline on the Russia 1 Vesti - Khakassia channel on November 9 of this year, reporting about the confiscation of New Testaments published and sent by the Gideons Ministry. According to these words of these news anchors, “The enemies of Russia operate in the rear. With the help of special editions of the Holy Scriptures, they undermine a militant spirit, and instill a defeatist attitude in the soldiers who are on a special mission in Ukraine.” Would you like to be reminded of accusations against Christians under the Soviet Union? Watch a video under the “News” section of the website or on the YouTube channel of GTPK Khakassia (in Russian only).

Note: as of November 28, 2023, the Russia 1 Vesti – Khakassia television company removed the video from its website and made the video private on Youtube.
