A Word from our Chief Executive Officer, Mark A. Smith
|
|
On behalf of the MVAA BOD, I’d like to wish all the students, parents, donors, directors – and anyone who has contributed to the rapid growth of the “Academy” a happy and peaceful Holiday Season. In 2015, when the late Rep. Pete Daley and Maestro Joe Campus envisioned an Arts and Cultural Center in the Mon Valley, the grassroots idea was only a dream and hope of what could be. Well, Pete and Joe, it’s here. We wish you could have stayed a little longer to see all the kids and parents enjoying your vision. We will move on with all the energy and talent we have been blessed with in our Mon Valley community. Happy Holidays everyone, and as the Maestro said, “See ya on the Bandstand in 2024."
