Pinch, punch, it's the first of the month - can you believe December is here?
Thank you to everyone who has brought items in for the Christmas Raffle - we have an impressive array of prizes available. Strips of tickets are £2 and the raffle will be drawn on 19 December. We also have 'Guess the Weight of the Christmas Cake' with the prize being a delicious Christmas Cake made by Sian Collins for £1 a go - be sure to bring in some change to participate in both Christmas fundraising initiatives.
At the time of writing, I am 33 days into my 40 days of abstaining from alcohol for 40 days! To be honest I am really impressed with the results so far - increased energy and motivation, fantastic sleep and my clothes feel great! I'd highly recommend it! I would be grateful for any donations to support me on the way, big or small to my JustGiving page - don't forget to tick the GiftAid box!
Last Friday, I had the pleasure of attending a Race Night organised by Teri Merrit in aid of the Charity. Teri put an incredible amount of work into organising the evening with a whopping £1046 raised in total. Thank you so much Teri.
