People have made guitars out of a variety of materials over the years. From the famous Torres paper maché guitar to Bob Taylor's pallet wood guitar and everything in between. Recently one of my former students, Peter Burrowes, made a guitar using corrugated metal for the top and oak wood from a pallet for the back and sides. This took quite a feat of engineering but he pulled it off. Check out the video below to see and hear this guitar.
