Rondo CLT'S 30th Anniversary Celebration
We would like to thank everyone who attended, sponsored, and donated to our 30th Anniversary Celebration. It was an incredibly meaningful evening, and we couldn't have done it without the support of you all. We had so much fun dancing, eating, and reconnecting with everyone who came. We were blown away by the performances from the Sounds of Blackness, Jamecia Bennett, and T. Mychael Rambo. We also enjoyed the 4-course tasting menu from Chef Terry John Zila. Watch a recap of the night here

We'd like to give a special shout out to Huntington Bank, our Presenting Sponsor. Thank you for your support!

Here's to the last 30 years of hard work - and cheers to another 30 more!
Rondo CLT in Community
GRAND OPENING

On October 31st, the community gathered for the Grand Opening of “Golden Thyme Presents” to hear more about the innovative project, explore the new art exhibit, and enjoy Halloween treats prepared by both Sammy's Avenue Eatery and Gravy Babies. We had a great lineup of speakers including Saint Paul Mayor Melvin Carter, Tameka Jones (Rondo CLT Board Member and Founder of Lip Esteem, a Rondo-based lipstick company), Russel Ballenger (Saint Paul City Council Ward 1), Sammy McDowell (Sammy's Avenue Eatery), Jocie Thomas (Gravy Babies), Paul Gaston (Artist), and our very own Coco (Rondo CLT Deputy Director).

We're excited about this partnership and for what the future holds. As Coco noted in a press release, “Golden Thyme Coffee & Cafe has always been a culture-bearing business. From the vibrant display of art on the walls to the development and growth of Selby Jazz Fest, Golden Thyme has been a platform for Black joy, creativity and expression. We're excited to collaborate with community artists to embed arts and culture as a core component of neighborhood development.”
Rondo CLT's and MCCD's Shared Ownership Learning Series
On November 16th, Rondo CLT & the Metropolitan Consortium of Community Developers (MCCD) cohosted the second workshop in our Shared Ownership Learning Series. Electra Skrzydlewski (MCCD's Director of Shared Ownership) and E. Coco (Rondo CLT's Deputy Director) discussed different cooperatives, key considerations/decision points that frequently come up in cooperative enterprises and provided real time examples of models locally and nationally. The next session, which will take place on December 6th, will focus on leading together and your role in cooperatives. Register here

Please Consider Supporting our Work

Rondo CLT builds community wealth and neighborhood stability through the development and stewardship of perpetually affordable homeownership opportunities, rental housing, commercial space, and other community assets.

Each new property that enters the community land trust starts a cycle of affordability for generations of low to moderate income earning families and local small business owners. Your donation makes all of this possible. Thank you.
