Tip of the month:

The holidays are once again upon us, hopefully bringing with them lots of family togetherness time. We usually practice well worn traditions together as a family, and yet, we may want to make room for some new roles as we do this.

Look for opportunities to lean out and see who else in the family may be ready, willing, and able to lean in and start playing a bigger role.

Finding opportunities to let others shine and to be more of an overseer than a doer can be a great sign of maturity and progress.

What's New:

In January I will be heading to Burlington Vermont for the Annual Family Enterprise Case Competition, where I will once again be serving as a judge.

I also have a professional announcement to share, as I have recently begun an association with Blackwood Family Enterprise Services. I look forward to seeing how this new partnership will allow me to do even more meaningful work with more families in Canada.
