Our postcard voter campaign, organized by Commit to Democracy and distributed by ISCC, will resume in January 2024.
We will announce signups to write postcards to voters in our ongoing 2024 ISCC newsletters. After you sign up, we will provide everything you need for writing postcards to voters in swing states (postcards, voter names and addresses, scripts, and instructions). Stamps are to be purchased by writers. An email will be sent to volunteers who have signed up with time and place (a Santa Cruz residence) where these postcard packages can be picked up.
A newly released study has found that Postcards to Swing States' total postcard program added 22,500 votes in the midterm elections in 2022. So we now have evidence that postcards to voters are an effective tool in getting out the progressive vote!
