It was great to see so many MAHC members at our meeting yesterday. We got an overview of upcoming funding for energy efficiency and electrification of affordable housing.

Efficiency Maine is looking for input as they plan their new programs. Slides presented by Michael Stoddard, Executive Director. Provide comment to: SatchelToole@efficiencymaine.com
Dan Burgess from the Governor's Energy Office presented these slides.
Adam Krea from Maine Housing shared the concepts for funding they have applied for to make available community solar and public housing energy efficiency upgrades.
MAHC is developing this draft spreadsheet of these new funding opportunities and will keep adding and sharing as we learn more and these programs get officially funded and applications are distributed.
MAHC will be sharing this summary brief on Electrification of Affordable Housing with state and federal decision makers to share how this work is impacting the speed and cost of affordable housing development in Maine.
