Join us for an immersive Sound Bath and guided meditation evening with Amanda Boivin Hill on Monday, December 11th, at The Beau Collective at 6pm. Your harmonic healing experience begins with a guided meditation, preparing your body, mind, and soul to receive and integrate the restorative gift of sound. This sound bath includes crystal singing bowls, tuned to the 432 htz frequency, a frequency capable of healing the body on a cellular level, as it shifts your brainwaves into the theta state. Other instruments like chimes and rain makers are woven into this sound experience, creating dynamic layers of frequencies. Your body and soul will feel completely relaxed.
Enjoy an evening of restoration, relaxation, and sound with a focus on gratitude. Psychology research has shown that a gratitude practice can be a leading contributor to a person’s overall health. The practice can release stress, depression, increase empathy, and improve relationships. Amanda is trained in meditation, Usui and Holy Fire Reiki, Trapped Emotion Release, and Sound Healing. Through her families own journey of healing, she has learned and implemented many tools to integrate a gratitude practice into her daily life. We all say we are “grateful” but how often do you practice showing yourself gentleness and gratitude?
Come show yourself some gratitude and immerse yourself in a community sound bath experience. The night will consist of a discussion around gratitude, breathwork, and a 45 minute sound bath. Afterwards, participants will be invited to sit in circle and share anything that might have come up for them during the sound bath to integrate and assimilate the healing.
This series is a continuation of a Sound Healing Series collaboration that Mountain Town Music presents together with Wild Women Tribe. The goal of the series is to raise awareness on mental health and offer a space for community-activated healing. Proceeds from this sound healing event will go to provide free sound healing events for Summit County's youth, elderly, and at risk populations.
WHAT TO BRING
Participants are invited to bring a yoga mat, pillows, blankets, a journal, water bottle and anything else they may desire to fully relax into the experience. Please arrive 10 minutes prior to the session in order to get settled and in a comfortable space.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Please wear comfortable clothes and be prepared to be seated or lying down for the duration of the experience. Cell phones will be turned off and no talking or discussions will occur during the event. Sound healing meditations can often prompt strong emotions to surface. It is encouraged to take care following the experience to not be exposed to loud, busy, energetic surroundings.
