December 2023 - Year In Review

Another year is almost in the books, and I can't thank you enough for the support you have shown this campaign in 2023. Without you, we would not have the momentum and resources we need to hit the ground running in 2024. It is because of you that we were able to knock on hundreds of doors, attend local events, and connect directly with the voters of D17 to hear their voices and be a true representative. What's going on with the campaign:

2024 is almost here and that means it's time to get to work for the official election cycle! We are still fundraising so that we can ensure we have what we need in the bank as expenses for printing, signs, ads and other voter outreach needs come up. Donate WHATEVER you can to keep me working hard in D17 FOR ALL OF US. We will also need to fill out our calendar with door knockers, phone bankers, yard sign deliverers, post card writers! There is something for EVERYONE. Sign up to volunteer or take a look at my calendar TODAY! It takes a village! Let's do this together. Don't worry, we make every opportunity easy and fun with quick personal training, supplies and a buddy! Have a special talent that you can offer the campaign? Reply to this email and let us know how you can support the team!

What's going on in local politics:

The 2024 Idaho Legislative Session begins on January 8 and typically ends in late March or early April. If the last session is any indicator of this year, Democrats will need to stand together and fight against the extremism and divisive, distraction politics of the Super Majority.

As YOUR candidate FOR ALL OF US, I will continue to fight for the rights of women and LGBTQIA+ youth to have control of their own bodies and access to healthcare. I will defend our public schools from being defunded by unconstitutional voucher schemes, and I will champion affordable housing and thriving wages to make Idaho more liveable. I will provide updates and be active through the 2024 session to keep you informed and share calls to action so that your voice can be heard on these issues!

What's going on in District 17:

The District 17 Democrats are hosting a couple of upcoming events! These events are a great way to get engaged with the local Democratic party and meet other people that share the same values and excitement to make a difference in their community.
District 17 Democrats:
Pints and Pups for Progress
  • Date: December 12
  • Time: 6:00 PM
  • Place: Mad Swede Brewing (2772 S Cole)
District 17 Democrats:
Jolly Java Jubilee
  • Date: December 16
  • Time: 12:00 - 4:00 PM
  • Place: 210 S Wallace St, Boise, 83705

What's going on with Natalie:

The holiday season is one of my favorite times of year because it is filled with great memories, time with family, friends, and supporters who remind me of just how special our community is. I am incredibly thankful for all of the love and support that I have received throughout 2023. My wish is that each of you feels the same. I have so much hope for the coming year, though times can look bleak, it is in the struggle that we find our collective strength. The wins we've already achieved together bring me comfort and joy, as does the promise of more to come FOR ALL OF US!
With deepest gratitude and appreciation,
