GPD Employees' Foundation Grant
We are so thankful to recognize the grant from the GPD Group Employees' Foundation in 2023 that has funded a significant portion of our partnership with the UofL Music Therapy Clinic.
Through this partnership, we have been able to provide weekly music therapy groups for young people in residential care.
Music therapy has the transformative ability to soothe the soul, unlock emotional expression, and facilitate healing in individuals facing various challenges.

Networking with non-profits in Louisville
On November 16th, Boys & Girls Haven hosted an information and networking meeting to strategize the development of an AmeriCorps program to serve young adults in the community. The discussion covered issues such as safe and stable housing, education/employment, permanent connections, and social and emotional well-being for at-risk youth ages 16-22.
