Seeking to encourage passion and support for gospel mission, pastors and church leaders from all corners of the Pacific Northwest came together in mid-November for an inspiring bootcamp aimed at bringing health and vitality back to their congregations. Journey to Bethlehem in Bend
This Christmas experience the story of Jesus' birth in way you will never forget. Experience the sight, the sounds, the smells of rural Judean village life as it might have been 2000 years ago with a live re-enactment of the Christmas Story at Bend Adventist Church, located at 21610 Butler Market Road in Bend. The journey to Bethlehem will feature real live animals, including a camel, donkeys and sheep; soldiers, beggars, bakers baking over an open fire, a carpenter's shop and an inn where you will be turned away. Visit the shepherds watching their sheep and hear an angel proclaim the good news. And finally a visit to the stable and a reminder why Jesus Christ came to this earth. Don't miss Journey to Bethlehem, November 29, and December 1-3. Wednesday and Friday, 6:00 to 9:00 PM; Saturday and Sunday 5:00 to 9:00 PM. Admission is FREE. PAA Performing at The Festival of Lights at the Grotto

PAA’s Choir and Alegria will be performing at The Grotto that evening and if you have never listened to a concert at The Grotto, you are in for a treat. Christmas Evensong Vespers at Sunnyside
Join us at Sunnyside Adventist Church for our Christmas Evensong Vespers, December 9 at 4:00 PM. A wonderful hour to relax, meditate, and enjoy the sounds of Christmas from the organ and the spoken word. Our organist will be Robert Schmidt, a close friend of Dr. Melvin West, who began the Evensong tradition, along with Dr. Loren Dickinson, some 50 years ago.
