Campaign Training and Meeting this Saturday

If you have not RSVPed yet to the training session and meeting this weekend I wanted to check one more time and see if you can attend. I know there is some uncertainty about the district lines due to the recent Supreme Court ruling but we can not let that get in the way of preparing a strong campaign once the lines are set.

Here are a list of topics that we will cover during the training:

Intro to Campaign Finance and Fund-raising

- Writing the fiance plan
- Fund-raising methods and strategies
- Staying in compliance
The On-line campaign
- Campaign Website Components
- Social Media Strategy
- Building and utilizing a mass email program
Identifying your path to Victory
- precinct analysis
- calculating vote goals
- building the coalition to win
Developing your message
- What will you say? Who will you say it to? How will you say it?
Intro to Voter ID and Targeting
- Methods of Voter ID
- How to use the data to target voters
- Using the data to turn voters out.

This meeting is by invitation only but we do want you to include the trusted members of your team so please let them know about it.

The meeting will be on Saturday Jan 28th from 9am-5pm at Moanalua Gardens Missionary Church located on 1401 Mahiole Street, Honolulu, HI 96819. We will be asking attendees for $25 each to cover the cost of the training, lunch and refreshments. You can pay at the door or you can pay by credit card, just email me and I will send you the form.

Please let me know ASAP if you can participate and how many you plan to bring so we have a head count.
