This newsletter contains news and events to share with your colleges and other networks. Be sure to log your paid time as you read the newsletter, respond to any requests, and share with other students. Thank you for your hard work as we get close to the end of the semester.

Flyers at Circulation

Soon, we will have flyers at the circulation desk under each of your names, so you can advertise the study break and pet therapy events at your colleges and in your community spaces. We will email you when they are ready. We appreciate you distributing and displaying these! 

Student Initiative Fund

Thank you to everyone who has submitted ideas to the Student Initiative Fund document! We are still accepting ideas and would love more of them.

Events

Fondren Study Break - Dec 6

On December 6, take a break from your studies with refreshments, holiday tunes, and some four-legged friends on the first floor.

• 2-4pm - Coffee, tea & snacks
• 2pm - Scavenger hunt starts
• 2:30pm - Shepherd School Viola Quartet: Molly Wise, Christina D'Antonio, Sasha Moroz and Amichai Hefter
• 3:30pm - The Rice Philharmonics, The Phils members
• 5-9pm - Faithful Paws Therapy Pets (additional dates and times)

Therapy Dogs in the Library - Dec 6-8

Relax and destress with the Faithful Paws Therapy Dogs on the first floor.

• Wednesday, December 6 from 5-9pm
• Thursday, December 7 from 5-7pm
• Friday, December 8 from 3-5pm
