Every year during Sagittarius season I reflect on how it's the time of year when we are most cut off from the sign designed to support us with what we most need right now.

In last week's profoundly nourishing and magical workshop for Unshaming Vagittarius - aka Unshaming Sagittarius (see this post to get the joke) - we explored the intelligence of burning candles, singing songs, telling tall tales, and stretching ourselves as broad as the sky.

In short, we are meant to spend this time billowing our fiery spirit as big as possible so we're crystal clear on why we want to keep living. Why it's worth carrying on through the coming winter. What is the song you're singing?!

When we move into Capricorn starting the winter solstice December 21, we pass off that heart(h)song to Capricorn, and the Capricorn part of us builds out the dream. Capricorn is the endurance we need. For what? For our song to survive into spring.

We are meant to seed Capricorn season with the expansiveness of possibility that we got from living through Sag... but most of us don't feel super expansive this time of year. And most of us are disillusioned by the business of New Years Resolutions.

Truth: Resolution Culture does not love us.

Resolutions are rooted from shame.

We were taught to relate to Time through the disciplinary lenses of shame and scarcity. From this perspective, the New Year becomes a deeply uncomfortable period for remembering failure and disappointment.

When Time becomes Terror, we invite the fear of failure into our dream weaving rituals and then blame ourselves for things not working out.

I had no idea how powerful I am until I rewired my relationship to Time.

That powerlessness was an illusion rooted in institutional systems. That powerlessness was a distortion from shame.

I am here for revolutions, not resolutions. I am here for a new paradigm.

Seeding the Year is how I protect the coming year from my fear of it.

Seeding the Year is an invitation to trust in the power I always already have.

It's hard to believe this is the sixth year I will be teaching Seeding the Year! Every year the framework expands and shifts as I understand what it wants to be.

This year I composted the workbook approach so that I can lead with an emergent voice. For 2024, Seeding the Year is molting aglow with new skin.

Seeding is a model for New Year’s dreaming, intentions, and manifestation. It centers my keyword: EMERGENCE. Because there’s no such thing as potential; there is only emergence.

I have found it to be true that in order to let your dreams and desires move through you into the physical plane, you have to become approachable to them.

How does one become approachable to one’s dreams and desires? This question is at the heart of all my work.

I will show you how I do this with the support of the cosmos.

This year's Seeding is a set of pre-recorded teachings to move through at your own pace along with a live 4-hour workshop designed to work beautifully as a replay. I know it's hard to meet up at this time of year so I am making it as digestible and doable as possible to let this revolutionary approach find its way to you no matter your schedule.
