Happy December!

Happy Holidays!!!There are many upcoming important dates to remember.

December 2 - Christmas in the Village show @ 3pm

December 10 - Ballet Folklorico show at Guardian Angels Catholic Church @ 12:00  -12:45pm

December 16 - Winter Recital @ 2:00pm & 6:00pm

December 18 - 23 Holiday parties last 15 minutes of class.

December 23 - Spring Costume final payment deadline

December 24 - January 7 - The studio will be closed for winter break. Classes will resume January 8, 2024.

Spring Recital Costumes

SPRING COSTUMES will be ordered in December.  Please confirm your size this week. Remember that costumes with sequins or multiple fabrics do not fit nor stretch like dance wear. We will be using these through fall of 2024.  When in doubt size up. It’s always easier to take it in with Zero opportunities to make it bigger.  It will take approximately 12-16 weeks to get these costumes made. There are no refunds.  Exchanges may be possible but will require additional expenses for additional shipping. This is our 76th Annual Recital and we want to make it our best yet. The balance will be due by December 23.

Company News

Please finalize all competition payments by December 23.

Company team rehearsals will be schedule during winter break, please let Miss Taryn & Miss Kaitlyn know if you're going out of town to plan accordingly

Band App!

Teachers have uploaded  their winter dances on the band app.  Please have your dancer practice during the week.

WINTER RECITAL 2023

“Seasons of Dance”

Date: December 16, 2023

Cost: $15 presale and at the door (ages 3 and up)

Times: Show 1 - 2:00pm

Show 2 - 6:00pm

*Note- If dancers are in more than one show, tickets must be purchased for each show. Complimentary tickets will not be given out.

**All 3-8 year old dancers are eligible to be in the “Holly Jolly Christmas” tap number during their show. Wear any holiday outfit (dress, leggings with holiday sweater or top) and tap shoes. See the office staff with any questions.

Winter Recital Raffle

We will be holding opportunity drawings at the winter recital for a variety of baskets. Get a flyer at the studio regarding which basket your Dancer is part of. Boxes are already at the studio to collect donations. Thank you in advance for participating. We would like to collect all donations by December 11th.  

Raffle tickets have been given to all dancers to presale to family, friends, and coworkers. Please return the tickets sold along with the money to the studio by December 16. Tickets will also be sold at the recital. The drawing will be held after the 6pm show intermission and posted by concessions. You do not need to be present to win. Those not present will receive a phone call to pick up the basket the following week at the studio.

REFRESHMENTS will be sold at both winter recitals including nachos, chili, hot dogs, cookies, candy, and drinks. We will gladly accept any cookie/brownie or other food/drink donations. Please bring them to the show and drop them off at concessions.

Class Holiday Parties!

HOLIDAY PARTIES

December 18-23 during the last 15 minutes of class; please bring a food or goodie item to share with the class; plates, napkins, utensils, and drinks will be provided by the studio. We will also have a gift exchange between students. Please make the gift age appropriate for the class with a $10 limit. The gift should be wrapped but untagged. Classes with both genders with be handled by the teacher.
