🛍 Small Business PassportHelp us celebrate our local businesses and shop small this fall! First, pick up your Small Business Passport at the Library. Between November 20 and December 20, visit five participating local businesses and get your passport stickered. Return your completed passport to the Library for a small prize and the chance to win one of our large drawing prizes. |

📘 Pop-up Book ShopJoin the Republic of Letters Book Store for a special holiday pop-up shop at the Library. Find the perfect gift for the literary lover in your life, or give your shelf a gift! Visitors can enjoy light refreshments while shopping for books for all ages and library-themed gifts. A portion of proceeds will support the Library through the Platteville Library Foundation. |

🧩 Puzzle and Board Game SwapMake sure your game closet is ready to go before cabin fever sets in. Bring in those puzzles you’ve put together already and the board games that your household is tired of, and take home some new (to you) games and puzzles. Through all of December and January, you’ll find the “swap” on the first floor large print shelves. |

🎁 DIY Drop-in Gift WrappingWrap your gifts away from prying eyes! We'll provide paper, bows, ribbons, tape, scissors, tags, and a place to spread out; you do the wrapping. Need a gift tag written out in a different handwriting for a secret surprise? Ask the staff at the front desk! |

🌴 Let’s Pretend: Tropical VacationHang out in the Children’s Space for some imaginative play! This month, we’re imagining ourselves somewhere warm and sunny. |

💥 Teen timeTeen Anime Club: Join us for fun, food, and fandom as we eat snacks and watch anime.
Fondue or Fon-don’t: Are there any foods that aren’t improved by coating them in cheese or chocolate? Find out for yourself. |

✂ Let’s get artsy (for kids)Drop in over winter break to create your own 3D art projects. These projects are designed for children 7-11 years of age. Younger children are welcome with an adult to assist them. |

🎵 Let’s get musical (for kids)Drop in for books, music, and sign language fun with guest presenter Deborah Custer. Geared for children 2-5 years old with an adult. |

🧶Let’s get artsy (for adults)Unwind: We’ll make the tea, you bring the conversation and a project to work on. Drop in the first Wednesday of the month to enjoy the company of fellow crafters. Take note: Unwind will be moving to the 2nd Thursday of the month at 2:30 pm in 2024!
Make it Midweek Marbled Paper: This month we’re making easy but stunning marbled paper, perfect for using as a notecard or gift tag. |
