Dear CAN participants and families,

Get ready for a streamlined registration experience starting this Spring!

We're introducing a new, user-friendly system where you can sign up for all opportunities in one central location.

With the new system will come the following changes:

• No Membership Required: Say goodbye to CAN Membership fees! Simply set up a new account in the upcoming system, and you're good to go. Existing CAN accounts cannot be transferred over. An account will be required to register for ALL opportunities, including family events and youth and adult programs that were previously offered via online forms.
• First-Come, First-Served Enrolment (FCFS): Enjoy a transparent and efficient process. Register for up to 2 programs per season, with immediate status updates. Select programs will not be FCFS due to eligibility requirements.
• Fee Structure: To ensure program sustainability, most CAN programs will now have associated fees — pay only if you get into a program.
• Payment Options: The new system will require payment upon registration. Due to ongoing challenges with the Autism Funding (AFU) approvals process, AFU will no longer be an option for programs under $100. Families facing financial barriers can apply to the CAN Fee Assistance Program before registration opens. • Family Access Pass: Opt for a $25 Family Access Pass for unlimited Family Experiences throughout the year (including events outside your region).

In February, you will be given instructions to create your new CAN registration account, with spring registration opening on Tuesday, March 5 at 9am.
