It's Membership Renewal Time! For those of you who joined LWVRB before 7-1-2023, it's time to renew your membership! There are two easy ways to join or renew:

2023 marked our 10th anniversary as the League of Women Voters of Roselle-Bloomingdale. We celebrated at our Decade of Impact Dinner on Friday, October 27, 2023. Our keynote speaker Ralph Martire reminded us just how instrumental the League of Women Voters has been in our country's major bipartisan legislation through the years.
As a League member, you have a lot to be proud of! Some of our accomplishments in our first ten years include:

Over 500 new voters registered at area high schools.

Hosted 14 Candidate Forums featuring 110 Candidates.

Conducted Mental Health Board Study & supported the creation of Bloomingdale Township 708 Mental Health Board. And encouraged other townships to create their own 708 Mental Health Boards.

Supported the Greenest Region Compact for passage by the Village of Roselle and Bloomingdale.

Supported a rally for Moore v. Harper, a Supreme Court case that threatens democracy.

Co-sponsored a parent education program - 'Bullying & Behavior in Schools'.

Co-hosted the DuPage Voter Expo and Candidate Forum.

Co-sponsored DuPage County Civic Awareness Series.

Educated voters about Ranked Choice Voting and electoral College Issues.

Completed a School District Consolidation Study.
Our work isn't done by any means! We have an election coming up in 2024, so your membership is very important to help us encourage the informed and active participation of citizens in our government. We offer many opportunities to get involved at a variety of levels, so renew your membership today and be sure to share your areas of interest.
