2023 was a year filled with growth and gratitude for our chapter. This year, we've spent many hours devising how to make ILEA-MSP the best it can be from growing our membership to planning compelling programs. With your help, our efforts paid off and we were honored with FIVE awards in this year's ILEA HQ Spirit of Excellence awards including Chapter of the Year. In addition, we also received titles for Excellence in Industry & Chapter Engagement, Excellence in Membership Growth, Excellence in Communications, and Excellence in Membership Initiatives. We couldn't have done this without you, so we thank you for an amazing year and wish you well into the next.
Behind the scenes, we are planning some pretty incredible things for 2024 including the introduction of Member Meetup events, the 20th Annual Minnesota Star Awards, and even flying in a wedding planner from New York City to talk about inclusivity in events for our January program. We can't wait to share all that we have in store as we dive head-first into 2024.

Minnesota Star Awards Entries Open Next Week!
|
|
|
In case you missed it, we're going back to school for the 20th Annual Minnesota Star Awards! On Friday, March 29, 2024, McNamara Alumni Center will be hosting event pros from across the industry for a night of nostalgic shenanigans. During the evening, we'll celebrate with an awards ceremony honoring the best work produced by local talent. Award submissions will open next week so start thinking about which 2023 event to enter, plus we have NEW categories broadening opportunities for more of you.
Anyone who has produced events (or components of events) within the region represented by the ILEA Minneapolis-St. Paul Chapter OR who works in this region, but produces events in other locations is eligible to enter. ILEA membership is not a requirement to enter most categories!
