New Staff in the UK
We're pleased to announce that Matthew Wilson joined OurBrainBank in the UK as Campaign and Communications manager. Following the publication of our whitepaper in July, Matthew will continue to promote the campaign which, in the near term, will focus on universal frozen tissue storage and genomic sequencing for all GBM patients in the UK.
Matthew has a personal connection to the cause: his wife Zoe passed away in April this year from a brain tumour after two years of illness. He has two children (aged 7 and 3) and previously worked in the media industry as a broadcast engineer and technical project manager. He enjoys cycling, running, cooking, and — since Zoe's diagnosis — raising funds for a number of UK cancer charities.
