The 2012 Symposium:
Why You Should Come
SHOULD YOU BE AT this year’s national gathering of Canadian UUs, the 2012 Spiritual Leadership Symposium in Ottawa, from May 18-20? If you’re interested in the future of our faith, the answer is YES.
This gathering is more than our usual annual conference. It’s a new kind of event: more focused, creative and participatory. It’s a joint effort of CUC and Canada’s UU Ministers. Last year, on our 50th anniversary, we were invited to “Trust the Dawning Future.” This year, that future begins.
The Symposium includes workshops, worship, music, arts and discussion that will engage our whole selves: head, heart and hands. Registration is open! The event is at The Westin, Ottawa, in the heart of the nation’s capital, in the beauty of spring.
