Dental hygiene is one of the most important things we can teach our children. Good oral hygiene and regular dental examinations are essential to your child’s oral health. Getting kids into the habit of visiting a dentist at an early age ingrains healthy habits that last a lifetime. | | Dottie’s Sea Moss Wellness Bar is a locally owned natural mineral, herb and supplement health food store that was established in the town of East Hartford by Business Owner Dorothelia Barnett in March of 2023.
Dorothelia, who is an E. Hartford resident of over 30 years, and a recent retired East Hartford Early Childhood Educator/ Childcare Provider of 24 years, wanted to begin a new business venture in the holistic field after experiencing miraculous health benefits from taking a natural mineral supplement called Sea Moss. Dorothelia, affectionately known to all as Dottie, proudly speaks about how Sea Moss medically changed her life after taking it! Once she posted a video about how she rescheduled and eventually canceled her 2021 knee replacement entirely after being introduced to Sea Moss, on social media, an overwhelming amount of people wanted to learn more about this sea vegetable too!
Shortly after her video grew the attention of others who wanted to try it for themselves, she decided to make small batches of Sea Moss for her family and close friends to try. They loved the results and so did she!
After conducting years of studies and research about Sea Moss, Dottie who is also a Certified Health and Wellness Coach, learned that this powerful red-like algae, which grows along the coast of the Atlantic Ocean, contains 92 out of 102 natural minerals that the body needs, is loaded with vitamins from A-K, and is said to offer an array of health benefits which includes decreasing and eliminating inflammation and joint pain. Due to her life changing experience as a result of consuming Sea Moss daily, Dottie decided to retire as an Early Childhood Educator in 2023 and open up the very first “Sea Moss Wellness Bar” in New England. Her passion is to help others by offering them natural alternatives as it relates to health and wellness.
Dottie’s says she very excited about conducting business in the same town that she’s lived in for over an decade, and she looks forward to using her business, skills and knowledge to give back to her community.
Dottie’s Sea Moss Wellness offers a variety of delicious, nutritious and naturally flavored Sea Moss gels, smoothies, supplements, tea’s, salads, Sea Moss infused parfaits and more!
Since she’s opened, this unique health food store has been become popular and admired by locals, and even customers traveling from others states, for its tranquility, beautiful under the sea ambiance, indoor/ outdoor seating, one on one consultations and for the informative and friendly customer service Dottie provides to each of her customers.
Dottie goes on to say, while taking natural minerals is very good for the the body and overall health she highly recommends consulting with your Health Care Professional or a Naturopathic Physician before consuming natural mineral to see if Sea Moss is right for you.
