INGREDIENTS
Crust
- 9 ounces graham crackers about 16 & ½ full graham cracker sheets
- ½ cup Unsalted Butter melted
Filling
- 24 large marshmallows
- ½ cup full fat dairy eggnog
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon eggnog flavoring
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- Nutmeg to sprinkle over the top of the pie
INSTRUCTIONS
Make the crust:
- Break graham crackers into smaller pieces, and place in a food processor; pulse until fine crumbs.
- Add melted butter to crumbs, and process until well blended.
- Press the graham cracker mixture into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch pie pan.
- Freeze crust while preparing filling.
Make the filling:
- In a heavy saucepan, combine marshmallows and eggnog over low heat. Cook, stirring constantly until marshmallows are melted and mixture is smooth. Remove from heat.
- Stir in vanilla, salt, and eggnog flavoring. Cool 30 minutes, stirring several times.
- While you’re waiting for the marshmallow mixture to cool, whip the heavy cream using a hand mixer or a stand mixer, until medium peaks form.
- Fold whipped cream into the marshmallow mixture. Spoon the filling into the chilled crust, smoothing the top so it’s pretty. Sprinkle the top of the pie with nutmeg.
- Refrigerate the pie, covered, 8 hours or overnight. Serve topped with whipped cream if desired.

Ho ho ho, do I have a holiday tale for you! Ever heard of the Santa Claus burglar? This arrest story from Seattle is a real hoot, especially around Christmas time.
Shon Shanell, 23, earns himself the nickname "Santa Claus burglar". Why, you ask? Well, he decided to play Santa in the worst way possible - attempting burglary by chimney. But here’s the kicker: he got stuck in the chimney for nearly six hours! Talk about being in a tight spot!
When Seattle firefighters found him in that chimney, the "Santa Claus burglar" was as naked as a jaybird! What led to his birthday suit situation is anybody’s guess. It took those brave firefighters a good 45 minutes of chiseling to free him from his brick-and-mortar prison.
Now, Shanell’s story to the police was that he was just trying to retrieve his backpack, which a friend had supposedly thrown down the chimney. But, lo and behold, the backpack was found just leaning against the garage door.
Fast forward to his day in court, and Santa Burglar didn’t do himself any favors. Even his own attorney was scratching her head when Shanell asked the judge for a nearly two-year sentence since the prosecutor was only asking for 15 months. The judge, maybe feeling a bit of holiday spirit, settled on a compromise of 17 months.
So, as we gather 'round this holiday season, let’s remember Santa Burglar’s tale as a reminder to stay on the right side of the law. Wishing y’all a safe and joyful holiday season, and if you ever need legal help, we've got your back!
