Hello Neighbors,

As the year comes to an end we’ve had much to reflect on and so much to be thankful for. I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to serve my community and the City of Chicago.

My first eight months of serving the 30th Ward have been full of learning and engagement through community meetings, participatory budgeting, and outstanding constituent services. I couldn’t have done any of it without such engaged passionate residents and staff.

As we head into 2024, I am excited to see what the year will bring for the new 30th Ward!

Read on to see where the 30th Ward has been recently and for updates about upcoming city initiatives like The Shared Cost Sidewalk Program and the 2024 30th Ward Museum Pass!

Sincerely,

Alderwoman Cruz
