David and I send our blessings from our family to yours. The five of us had a wonderful time this Thanksgiving visiting my older brother and his family, including a precious 20 month old great nephew, in Oaxaca, Mexico - which you can see evidence of in our photo!
We’ll be enjoying time with many members of David’s side of the family over the winter holidays - including his wonderful mother Peggy, who at 93 continues to be one of my “sheros” - and we also look forward to welcoming a new baby - a great niece or nephew into our family. And David will be turning 65 - he already has his Medicaid Advantage card!
With two wars raging, we pray for peace, love, light and joy, and an end to cruelty and suffering, for our beautiful and broken world.
After this downtime I will be ready for the General Assembly in the new year - we go back on January 8th. I appreciate each one of you, and all the work you do to improve our DeKalb community and the state of Georgia.
