AMA Annual Offering December 30!
The annual North Pacific Union Conference offering, in support of Arctic Missions, is December 30. This offering is one of the primary funding sources for the AMA ministry which is fully-funded by donations from supporters like you. AMA focuses on reaching over 220 bush villages. We have been blessed to enter several communities through radio and Bible workers. But, there is much work to be done!  Please pray for this ministry, and if the Lord leads, donate to share the Good News with our Alaska Native brothers and sisters. Donations can be made directly at the Alaska Conference, 6100 O’Malley Rd., Anchorage, AK 99507, through Adventistgiving, or online at www.arcticmissionadventure.org. Thank you for being so supportive of this vital ministry.

Utqiagvik Blue Christmas
The Village of Utqiagvik is set to host 'Blue Christmas', a holiday event that promotes open remembrance of loved ones. This unique gathering urges individuals to express their grief, particularly during the festive season. The event is scheduled for Friday, December 22, 2023, from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm at Hopson Middle School. Arctic Mission Adventure (AMA), in collaboration with Utqiagvik's city and borough entities, leads this initiative. Attendees can expect to see an impressive snow sculpture, "Strength in Our Light" by renowned artist Paul Hanis. AMA's objective is to communicate a potent message to Alaska's Native communities highlighting the importance of open mourning and seeking support for healing. 'Blue Christmas' aims to stimulate discussions around emotional health, with aspirations to make this an annual tradition in Utqiagvik and other communities, fostering a wave of hope and healing throughout the state.

Teen Dating
Teen dating violence is just as serious as adult domestic violence and it's just as common. It spans race, gender, and socioeconomic lines. Both males and females can be victims, but they are abused in different ways: Girls are more likely to yell, threaten to hurt themselves, pinch, or slap. Boys injure girls more severely and frequently. Learn more by watching the three minute video below:
