The Information You Need
 

Register: The last day to register to vote is February 20. You must be registered at your current address.  Check your status and sign up for notifications when your ballot is sent, received and counted.

If you are registered as No Party Preference but want to vote in the presidential primary, you need to take action.  

  • To vote for a Republican, Green or Peace and Freedom presidential candidate, you must re-register as a party member.

  • To vote for a Democratic, Libertarian or American Independent presidential candidate, you must request a "crossover" ballot

Decide: You will receive voter information packages in late January.  

The  Alameda County Leagues will host virtual candidate forums for U.S. House of Representatives, State Senate and Assembly,  County Boards of Supervisors and Education, and Superior Court judge. We will provide dates, times and registration links shortly. 

The following measures will be on the Oakland ballot. We will provide analyses and recommendations shortly. 

 Vote:  Expect your mail-in ballot in early February.
