DECA Conference in St. Paul. All of our students competed in a traditional job interview, and a situational interview. The situational interview gives students an opportunity to challenge their creativity while displaying their business knowledge. Students competing individually are given 10 minutes to prepare their solution to a problem, prior to seeing a judge, while students competing in teams get 30 minutes to prepare. This year, District 2 had 680 students compete for top 12, and the opportunity to advance to the state conference March 10-12
th. Rosemount represented this conference very well, with 105 students advancing to this year’s state conference. 8 students advanced in their traditional job interview, while 102 advanced in their situational interview. 5 students advanced in both!
