Three Cheers for 20 Years!

Twin Cities is home to some of the most talented event professionals in the world and for 20 years we have shined a spotlight on your work by honoring entrepreneurs and businesses alike at the Minnesota Star Awards. In honor of the 20th Annual Star Awards, we’re taking everyone back to school. We’re talking cheeky academia like Clueless, Grease, Sex Education (the show not the class), Mean Girls, and Saved by the Bell.

You’ve proven time and time again that you aren’t afraid to be the rebel, class clown, or artsy kid and it’s so exciting when we can all reflect on what our community has accomplished. From weddings to artistic photography to collaborative team efforts, we have an abundance of creativity and innovation in our local events community

You deserve to be recognized for your extraordinary efforts! We personally invite you to Submit Your Work to be considered for an award at the 20th Annual Minnesota Star Awards.

NEW THIS YEAR: In your entry, you may leave names or logos that happen to be captured in photos or videos where you need to use visuals to illustrate the event. However, if there is audio revealing your name, you must submit the video without audio. When in doubt, if you can blur or retract your identity - do it.

Anyone who has produced events (or components of events) within the region represented by the ILEA Minneapolis-St. Paul Chapter OR who works in this region, but produces events in other locations is eligible to enter. ILEA membership is not a requirement to enter most categories, with the exception of the ILEA Team Effort Award.

Entries are judged by ILEA event professionals from other chapters throughout the world. Submissions are $95 per entrant and Early Bird entry pricing ends Monday, January 22nd. Prices will increase to $125 until February 5th and will increase again to $145 for the final call through February 9th.

Be sure to follow all the rules and submit your entry by 11:59 pm CST, Friday, February 9th, 2024. We’ll see you at the ceremony on Friday, March 29th, 2024, at McNamara Alumni Center in Minneapolis where the winners will be revealed live!
