"Everyone deserves love, and for too long queer couples have been experiencing discrimination, hate, and disrespect while planning what is supposed to be one of the happiest events of their lives, it's not fair, and we have to change it! The Supreme Court's ruling about the website maker sent waves through the nation that equality is moving backward and we are slowly losing our rights with Marriage Equality next. We need to come together as the wedding industry and stand strong for love and equality and to do so you need to speak the language, understand the culture, and learn more about us!"

New Collab Event: Share the Love of Travel & Events

Join us in a collaborative event with our friends at MPI, GBTA, HSMAI, NACE, SITE, and SGMP for the Share the Love of Travel reception, a celebration of hospitality and events in the Twin Cities region. Minnesota Star Awards Submissions Now Open!

In case you missed it, we're going back to school for the 20th Annual Minnesota Star Awards! On Friday, March 29, 2024, McNamara Alumni Center will be hosting event pros from across the industry for a night of nostalgic shenanigans. During the evening, we'll celebrate with an awards ceremony honoring the best work produced by local talent. Award submissions are NOW OPEN and we can't wait to hear about your best events from 2023.
NEW THIS YEAR: In your entry, you may leave names or logos that happen to be captured in photos or videos where you need to use visuals to illustrate the event. However, if there is audio revealing your name, you must submit the video without audio. When in doubt, if you can blur or retract your identity - do it.
