Waters Families,

We’ve had a great week welcoming everyone back to school! All of our staff and students have done a wonderful job getting back into the swing of things.

As you may remember, Waters is in the process of selecting a new reading curriculum in grades K-5th grade. On Wednesday, February 28, we will be having a screening of The Right to Read, a documentary that discusses some of the aspects of science-based reading curriculum. Please keep an eye out for more details.

In celebration of the life and work of Martin Luther King Jr., there will be no school on Monday.

With Kindness,
Mr. R.

FRIDAY NIGHT “FOOTBALL”

All 4th-8th graders are welcome to sign up with Mr. Archer or just show up ready to play soccer. First grade parent Mr. Dekker will be hosting pickup soccer games on the turf field from 4:00-6:00 PM on Fridays all the way through next season (Temp above 30 and no rain). There will be lots of small games and skill work.
