Happy New Year everyone! We hope you had a great break but now we are back ready to start working toward a successful 2024 election year.
We are starting off by writing to New York voters about the upcoming special election to replace disgraced George Santos. The expulsion of George Santos from the House of Representatives presents an opportunity to bring that seat back into the Democratic fold. We can't resist being part of the effort to decrease the slim Republican majority in the House. So, we're writing to infrequent voters in New York District 3 who are Democrats or lean Democratic. We are letting them know about this special election and boosting overall name recognition for Democrat Tom Suozzi, who held the seat for 6 years before giving it up to run for governor. The election is rated a tossup by the experts, so this is a campaign in which our hard work can make a real difference. More important, if we flip the seat in February, it is more likely to stay blue come November.
The script is short and to the point! During these rainy days it is the perfect time to write with friends and family. The final mail date is February 2nd but you can mail as you write and then do more.
